After wowing the car world with the Concept Kizashi at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, Suzuki had unveiled the Kizashi 2 Concept at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, a crossover sports wagon whose design conveys the dynamism of a top athlete and inspires a powerful sense of excitement.

Conceived for energetic people in activities ranging from business to leisure, the Kizashi 2 Concept has an emotionally appealing shape that reflects a dual focus on status and vitality in a way that generates excitement about its performance and heightens the pleasure of ownership.

Under the bonnet of the Kizashi 2 Concept, a 3.6L V6 engine-the highest-displacement engine ever used by Suzuki-is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission for powerful-feeling acceleration and class-eclipsing performance during high-speed cruising. For superior environmental performance, Suzuki is pursuing solutions such as hybrid technologies.

Suzuki Releases New Range of Accessories for Jimny 4x4

Suzuki of Great Britain has announced the launch of a new range of interior and exterior accessories for its mini 4x4, the Jimny. Available on the JLX and JLX+ four-wheel drive model variants, the list of exterior appointments include a chromed five-piece front grille set with a matching trim for the front headlamps and rear tail lamp clusters, a body-colored rear upper spoiler and polished sport bar, seven-spoke "Jakarta" alloy wheels and a polished stainless steel muffler extension.
For those looking for more practical accessories, Suzuki has also introduced a tow-bar mounted bicycle carrier, and a multi roof-rack and roof box for increased load capacity.

Available interior upgrades come in the form of an iPod interface module and Clarion portable satellite navigation system complete with a built-in radio tuner, MP3 player and RDS-TMC tuner, a four-piece carpet mat set and centre armrest with an integrated storage compartment.

2010 Suzuki SX4 and SX4 Sedan Facelift Revealed in China

Suzuki's joint-venture in China, Changan-Suzuki, has released a facelift version of the SX4 crossover for the domestic market. Not surprisingly, both the hatchback and sedan variants of the updated SX4 feature the same aesthetic changes as the European version of the car that was scooped undisguised last December. These include the redesigned bumper, reworked grille and concave surfaces above the fog lights as well as a new skid-plate at the rear of the hatchback.
For those that like to pay attention to insignificant details, the China-market and, from the looks of it, the European-spec 2010 SX4's subtly redesign front-end is no different than the one found on the North American market SX4 that has been around since 2006...
The Chine-spec SX4s also feature updated interior trim and a new GPS navigation system.
